WORKPLACE GIVING

Workplace giving is part of the Cancer Research Foundation’s DNA. When the Foundation was started, some of its most valuable fundraising came from a fund started and managed by the Goldblatt’s Stores employees. The Cancer Research Foundation has been supported by every type of employer. We have long time supporters in the CFC as well as corporations across the nation.

Planned Giving

Seven out of ten Americans will die this year without a leaving a will, which means that state governments will decide for them how their assets should be distributed. Make sure that your will reflects your dedication to the battle against cancer by indicating a special gift to the Cancer Research Foundation.

You can make a difference by including a simple clause in your will expressing your desire to make a contribution. Possible phrasing might include.

“I give and bequeath to the Cancer Research Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation located in Chicago, Illinois:

  • a cash bequest of $________ , a percentage (_ %) of my estate, all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, for the uses and purposes of said corporation.”
