In 2002 Rebecca Conkling graduated from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY, with a bachelor of science in biology. As an undergraduate at Binghamton, she worked in several basic research laboratories. Her interests focus on studying the regulatory mechanisms of cell growth and cell differentiation. While at the University of Chicago, she worked in the laboratory of Karen Frank, MD.
