About staff

Carlo Navarro

Carlo comes to the CRF with an extensive background in marketing and business development, with wide-reaching experiences in, and passions focused on entrepreneurship, social impact, and community management.  He will be responsible for managing the Cancer Research Foundation's marketing and fundraising strategies, focusing on building and diversifying our community of supporters and partners. 

Carlo’s 13 years of experience over a breadth of industries from early-stage tech startups to career & education organizations will be very useful in this new endeavor.  In the past he has worked for companies such as IGN Entertainment, Institute, Apple and he began his career at Omnicom Media in Chicago. Carlo is beyond excited to tell the stories of the innovators we fund and chronicle the impact the Cancer Research Foundation has and will have on cancer science, our community and the world.
